2025 Scholarship Requirements

The association awards yearly scholarships to applicants who meet all the requirements listed

below and are selected by the Scholarship Review Committee of the Association. The number of

scholarships awarded is predicated on funds available.

Shall be the child, grandchild, or great-grandchild of a present member or a member at the time they passed away of the Baltimore County Fire Department Retirees Association, Inc.

Shall submit a copy of a letter of acceptance from an accredited college or trade
Shall be a 2025 high school graduate at the time the award is received or not have served more than 4 years in the Military since graduation from high school. (This exception is not retroactive.)

Shall submit an essay detailing their community

The postmarked deadline for applications will be May 14, 2025. Applicants will be notified of the results by mail or phone.
